Share a shortcut using Copy iCloud Link.
Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone or iPad.
Locate the shortcut you want to share.
Tap on and hold the three dots in the top right corner of the shortcut. You could also open the actual shortcut and use the "Share" icon along the bottom.
Tap the “Share” icon from the menu.
Choose “Copy iCloud Link” – This will copy a link to the shortcut that you can share with others. They can open the link on their iOS device and it will open the Shortcuts app and add the shortcut.
The iCloud link is now copied to your clipboard. You can now paste this into a iMessage or email.
Share a shortcut as a file.
In the Shortcuts app on your iOS or iPadOS device, tap on a shortcut to open it in the editor, then tap the Share icon.
Next, tap “Options>”, select “File”, and choose one of the following:
• Anyone: Anyone can run your shortcut. Apple will receive a copy of the shortcut for validation (to ensure it hasn’t been tampered with before you share it).
• People Who Know Me: Only people who have you in their contacts can run your shortcut. Your contact details will be included in the shortcut file.
Tap “Done”.
Then, you can do one of the following:
• Send the shortcut as a file via a sharing app: Tap an app (like Messages or Mail) from the sharing options, and use it to send the file as an attachment. When the recipient taps the link, they’ll see a description of the shortcut. If they tap “Add Shortcut”, it will be added to their collection.
• Save the shortcut to the Files app: Tap “Save to Files” and choose a location on your device or in iCloud Drive.
Stop Sharing a Shortcut.
When you share a shortcut, the link is hosted in iCloud (at https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/shortcut ID). If you want to stop sharing the shortcut, you’ll need to open the link in the Shortcuts app and access the option to stop sharing.
Here’s how to do it on your iOS or iPadOS device:
1. In the Shortcuts app, tap on the shared shortcut, then tap the three dots.
2. Tap “Copy iCloud Link”, then tap “Copy Link” in the pop-up window.
3. Open Safari on your device, paste the link into the search bar, and tap “Go”.
4. The shortcut will appear on a web page.
5. Swipe down from the middle of the screen to show the “Open” button, then tap it.
6. The shortcut will open in the Shortcuts app.
7. In the top-right corner, tap the three dots again, then tap “Stop Sharing”.
8. Confirm by tapping “Stop Sharing” in the pop-up window.
